Location The community of Cypress Cove is located on Roanoke Island in the Town of Manteo. Roanoke Island is part of the Outer Banks of North Carolina. The community is located a short distance from the beaches of the Atlantic Ocean and a short walk to the historic Manteo waterfront. The community has unobstructed views of the Croatan Sound and beautiful sunsets.
Design
Cypress Cove aspires to the same quality of design that characterizes historic Manteo, including its wonderful network of walkable streets, tree-shaped parks, gardens small alleys and courtyards, brick paths and covered passages, and a multitude of flower-adorned spaces.
Cypress Cove builds upon Manteo’s traditional design patterns to offer residents a distinct neighborhood within walking and biking distance of area schools, shopping, restaurants, attractions and historic sites, allowing residents to experience a truly well-rounded life as part of the vibrant Roanoke Island community. Several home sites feature lush marsh or sound views, and nature trails, a small pond and observation platforms are available for all to enjoy. Homes, public spaces and conservation areas harmoniously co-exist, integrating the indoors with the outdoors.

The community is being developed by Cypress Cove, LLC which is comprised of partners with individual talents and expertise: leaders in local government, community involvement, and experience in the planning, development and management of other successful communities in the area.
